A Faithful Call to Join

Restoring Men. Rebuilding Families. Strengthening Communities.

For the last 20 years, Waypoint Ministry has walked with men in their darkest moments, offering Christ-centered healing and lasting transformation for anyone caught in the grips of addiction—one soul at a time. Now, we have the opportunity to serve even more, by securing the future of our ministry—and we’re asking you to join us.

Purchasing the Waypoint Campus

Currently, we lease our 44‑acre property in North Georgia. While the current owners continue to be supportive of our vision and have given us a stable place to do this work, our program will thrive more fully when we can operate with long‑term stability through owning the land we steward, rather than remaining tenants.

We have now entered a contract to purchase the Waypoint campus. By completing this purchase, we can secure our future on this property, make thoughtful upgrades that improve program quality over time, and faithfully care for what God has entrusted to us. This is a natural next step in our mission: continuing to build on a strong foundation, strengthening our ability to serve, and growing in stewardship of the men, families, and communities we walk alongside. After thorough planning, here is the exact need today.

Our Program

The Waypoint Approach

For regeneration to take place, men need to be rooted in the Scriptures and have an environment that allows for spiritual formation. Our program is unlike any other recovery program. It does not seek a quick-fix or intend to provide instantaneous results.

We are a residential program that builds into the lives of these men for a period of 12 months. Our principles and methods have been tested over 20 years.

In their year at Waypoint, men experience >

Biblical Discipleship and Spiritual Formation

Through Scripture, structured teaching, fellowship, and prayer,
each man will develop an individual relationship with Jesus
Christ. Through that relationship, each man finds healing and
discovers God’s purpose for his life.

Grace-Based Curriculum in a Healing Environment

Men experience comprehensive, holistic shepherding through a
regenerative curricular process.

Strategic Accountability

The program builds structure and creates an atmosphere
where men hold each other accountable to a higher standard,
encouraging trust for speaking truth in love.

Clinical Counseling

Each resident is mentored by an individual counselor working
with them throughout the program to establish goals, and
evaluate monthly progress toward the transitional phase of
preparing to reintegrate into society.

Job Skills Training

Working with community partners, area churches, and
businesses, the residents learn job skills within our industries
and gain needed experience to step into the work environment.

A Ministry Model Built to Multiply

Here at Waypoint, our ministry model is unique in that the restorative work we do for men comes with a reintegration component that also helps fund our work.

The Waypoint ventures (informally known as “industries” to our guys on campus) bring vital income into the ministry, helping to support and fund a significant portion of our overhead.

In 2025, revenue generated from our Thrift Store was enough to cover the salaries and benefits of our staff, and supply vital scholarships to men who simply couldn’t afford to enroll here at Waypoint on their own.

This means every dollar you give is stretched farther because it doesn’t have to bear the load of covering ministry and all our operational needs. When you partner with Waypoint, your gift is making an outsized impact.

Understanding the investment

Phase 1: $3,100,000

Phase 1 secures the long‑term future of the ministry by purchasing the main facility in Dahlonega and paying off the remaining balance on the Thrift Store property. Core residential spaces and essential infrastructure will be upgraded to strengthen safety and stability, and Servant Leadership housing will be remodeled. A dedicated maintenance facility will be added, and recreation will be expanded with a recreational field, a disc golf course, and an improved hiking trail. Teaching spaces will be modernized with updated technology and furnishings to deepen engagement in the program.

Future Phase 2 Goals

After Phase 1 is complete, we will embark on the next phase to improve additional parts of the campus, including our Multi-purpose building (kitchen, chapel, housing), new laundry facility, and an expanded thrift store & community space.

The Impact

This project is not simply about owning property. It’s about creating a campus that strengthens our program and solidifies our ability to continue this life-saving work so that we can continue to:

  • Serve more men struggling with addiction
  • Restore fathers to their families
  • Strengthen communities through transformed lives
  • Ensure this ministry continues for generations
“Confronting myself was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But it was the only way to true freedom.”
